Fence not working at all on windows 11 PRO

Only Trouble with windows 11 pro !

Hello ! I use fence with windows 11 pro, on my laptop HP (HP Zbook Fury 15.6 inch G8, with Inter Core VPRO I9), . I also use a additional Samsung computer screen, to extend my laptop screen.

Every single time I start my PC, my fences are being displaced, and wrongly resized. Every day I have to move them again at the correct position.

Sometimes, the fence stay stuck into the "Laptop screen size", but displayed on my wider screen. It really, really bothers me. Instead of being more productive, I just lost my time with it !

Please provide a tip / or a fix ! Thanks !

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe it is best if you use Fences layout snapshot function. What you can do is setup your Fences layout according to your two screen setup and save its layout for both of this screen connection. One save for when you run your system without your additional screen connected and save another one with your additional screen connected. When you have issue you can just reload the saved layout snapshot. That should arrange back you Fences accordingly.

Thanks

Hello ! After 6 month I still have a lot of issues with Fence ! The automatic re-scaling process isn't working at all. I have to fix it manually each time. This isn't acceptable

Also there are obvious display bugs. I attach a short video Recording.

I really would appreciate support on this topic, I can't  be the only one with those issues

thanks in advance

What is you desktop icons size setting and your monitor scale setting? 100%,125%, 200% ,300%?

Also, share you Windows 11 full version number please. Use Winver.exe you will get something like screenshot below.

Thank you,

Does the issue goes away when you set your scale down? Try 200% or lower and see if it resolve your issue.

Why do you set your Windows scaling so high? Some applications can end up with misalignment and other scaling issues. Maybe go to a lower resolution for the desktop and keep the scaling to 100% or 125% instead.

Hello, I Think I had first to set a differents Screen resolution. Then I was able to set the Scaling down to 110%. Its seems to work now.

Thanks wor the support. In Janunary I will have to test it on my other office screen too. Let see if the display work this time too.

I wish you a merry christmas !
