Keystroke or Mouse suddenly makes all the difference in the world

Accessing the Start Menu with the Win Key is suddenly broken

Seemingly out of the blue, my Start 11 menu has developed a split personality:

  • Using the mouse and clicking on the Start button shows me all of my carefully crafted interface: the pinned apps and the arrangement of icons horizontally along the bottom.
  • Touching the Windows key, however, suddenly shows me a generic listing of apps and exactly NONE of the icons I want along the bottom. I think that might be the native Windows Start interface (it's been so long since I have seen it!) but the Control screen in configuration clearly is set for Start11 menu for both mouse and keyboard.

I am at a loss to explain this or to resolve it.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system. What is your Windows full version number? Use Winver.exe and your Start11 version installed?

Thanks

Sorry, should have listed all of that:

Windows 11, Version 22H2, Build 22621.1848

Start11 Version 1.41

Please uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after uninstall finished. Download and install the latest version from your account. Start11 V1.45, reboot again, retest it and report back.

Thank you,
