New Groupy not loading all tabs

I have just paid for the groupy update and had hoped that a problem I have been having would have been sorted out.

I have a group of different Browsers, Opera , Vivaldi and Edge, plus outlook. When the group is started more often thn not edge is missing from the group .

When I start edge and ctrl/drag it over to add it to the group a blue transparent  tab is created and I have to click "Add to Group" this works but most times I am left with the Blue transparet window being left there.

If I change the settings so that I just drag to add to group i I still get the transparent Blue window but the app I dragged over does not get added at all!

To better explain, If I minimise Groupy the blue transparent window is left over my desktop and I can't get rid of it ! 

I then cannot click anything on my desktop.

is this happenning to anyone else?

 

BTW I have tried deleting and creating a new group but that does not make any difference.

This is quite random but happens very often.

1st I have had this problem for a very long time, over a year I think.

To reproduce it. I have set groupy to only add group with Ctrl Key but I does happen if I leave it set to just drop the window onto groupy.

I mostly use groupy maximised.

I ctrl/drag drop the window over the maximised groupy window . 

If  I right click the new tab that appears and select the actual window from a list. The new window is added to the groupy but the light blue tab is still there so I have to click any other tab to make it go away . The tab dissappears but if I then minimise groupy Most times I am left with a Slightly transparent, light blue window over my desktop which does not go away unless I reboot..

I can see my desktop icons through this window.

I also have Fences installed if that makes any difference

I hope that is clear.

I cannot reproduce your issue on my system. Please refer video below.

did the youtube video have sound as I couldn't understand what was going on?

There is no sound. It just show I can group those browser without issue. Hopefully you can upload a video showing us your issue.

I assume you have not disabled show window contents when dragging in Windows?

Yes I had disabled windows contents! 

Just tried enabling it and it seems to make a big difference!

I can now drag and drop onto a group with out having to right click the new tab and select the window from a list.

It just works. I didn't even know this could work like this as mine has never done it!

so that's one problem solved thanks.

While I have been testing it I notice that it mostly takes more than one attemt though. I have only been testing for a few minutes and the most attempts before it working has been 5. mostly it's 2 or 3 attemts ?

Is there a special position I should drop the window onto?

I will keep testing.
