Is the Start 11 basic home user license for 5.99 yearly, monthly or perpetual?

It is a bit frustrating that it is not spelled out in the description of the product or in a FAQ.  Is the 5.99 home user license for a month, year or perpetual?

Hello,

If you purchase Start11. The license key should work forever for Start11 V1.X. But, if Start11 release an upgrade to V2.X or Start12 that key, usually, will not work on those version.
