Release Object Dock Sounder 1.5

Hi all,

Object Dock Sounder 1.5 is a small application that will run in background and will add sounds to your dock.
With this version it's possible to:
- play a sound (all common types supported) on dockenter
- play a sound on dockleave
- play a default sound when an icon is hovered
- play a default sound when an icon is clicked

NEW feature:

- Use different sounds for different icons for hover/click of an icon, based on the label that is shown above the icon. When you don't have a sound set for a particular label, the closest match will be used. Otherwise, the default sound will be used.

Expected in version 1.6:
- Sounds for the "poof" effect
- Using TextToSpeech, the icons label can be read out to you when you over over it.
- A new mouseover detection mechanism.

Enjoy.

Maybe the closest match feature is the problem I'm having Andreas...If no sound is assigned to an icon,no sound should be played.Just a thought.

IR: but what if you want all instances of explorer to use the same sound?

Oh...you mean like if a second icon shows up as a running app in the taskbar section.I forgot about that because I dont use OD as a taskbar.(think thats what you mean)

Another great one Andreas I really like how this goes with my IconX sounds.

iconX sounds, tell me more

BTW, I updated the file, because IR (as always ) was having some problems with his dock and the docksounder.exe. I think the current version fixed his problem.

Just a quick update: more mousehover sounds can now be played at the same time. (this one is for I.R. )

maybe you could try to set your dock up as a piano?

I learned how to play piano once, and got rather good at it. I think I'll tackle a little rachmoninoff on my Object Dock.

Hmm. I have my DockSounder set up to play a sound when I enter the dock, but it also plays the same sound when I leave the dock too, even though I dont have an exit sound configured. kinda annoying, cause when I set up a sound for leaving the dock, they overlap wierdly. Pretty strange.

hmm strange dont have that hear, can you post your INI file?

BTW: thanks for the icon (can you also make one with a bit smaller black key on it?)
