Objects Not Showing

I just loaded my save file from yesterday to start playing again and I noticed something strange.  The first screen snapshot below shows what a part of a galaxy looked like right after loading the game.  The second screen snapshot shows what that part of the galaxy looks like after using my 2-ship fleet near Subspace Gate 2 to successfully attack a Krynn transport.  Notice that multiple planets, shipyards, and starbases suddenly appeared.  Why?  Why were they hidden before the attack, but suddenly visible after the attack?  This seems like a bug with the initial display.  These objects should have been visible right after loading the save file.

The steps to recreate the issue after loading the save file are:

1. Go to the planet named Kryseth.
2. Click on the 2-ship fleet near the Subspace Gate 2.
3. Use the fleet to attack the Krynn transport named "K.K.S. Deliverance-4" located just up and to the left of the fleet.
4. Suddenly, additional planets, shipyards, and starbases will appear.
