Subspace Gate Location Issue

It looks like there is an issue with the location of a Subspace Gate. The first screen snapshot shows that the Subspace Gate is located a couple of cells inside the galaxy boundary (which I have been advocating for!).  The second screen snapshot shows that the movement bonus goes a few more cells deep into the galaxy.  I would think that the Subspace Gate would need to be at the end of the movement bonus line.

A link to a save file that should show this is located here:

Thank you for your report!
We are already investigating this issue, but to make sure it's all the same bug, could you please submit a save file?

I see that this post was not updated since may. This is actually a game breaking bug. For me, it is brute stopping me from entering another sector. Any ship trying to cross the portal is automatically resent back to the starting point of said portal. There are hundreds of ships stuck in perpetual circle in trying to cross the stream only to reappear few hexes away and going back for the portal. Setting waypoint on the other side and sending ships for it, is not working. I have no idea how to cross it.

It's early access so I get why this happens, but this problem is game breaking and I see that in 3 months of updates, problem still stands.

Ah yes, the screenshots

I appreciate you bringing this back up, with the wide scope of updates sometimes things fall through the cracks, Ill bring this back up ASAP, and thank you for the follow up

That is definitely an odd issue.  I bet it's something I wrote too. :(

I'll keep an eye out.

Could you confirm for me if this was resolved with the v1.7 update or is still occuring for you? If so a save would be greatly appreciated

No idea if this is resolved for other people, but in my case I haven't seen it reoccurring. I have created several new games so i think it's good. I'll post it up again if this happens. I've noticed the problem only happening on the largest map settings.

On the other note for 1.7

This:

To add to that, pirate shipyards stay idle indefinitely after producing a certain numer of ships. The ships stack now so it's nice, but even after clearing them all up, the shipyards just stay there in space waiting for who knows what. It kills their purpose.

The last thing is something I am not sure is intended or is it a simple bug, but should synthetics like YOR benefit from recruitment centers? The "growth" of metal just seems strange to me.

and one more I found during the weekend. Some strategic resources like technopod hive, snugglers etc. won't count to gathered resources if they are on the outposts. There is not even an option to build extractor stations on them.

One suggestion to developers. The same issue there was with Gal Civ 3. If you have a huge map, 30+ worlds and every world have it's own shipyard, producing helios ore harmony crystals, or missions like research. With every turn you have to click 30 popups before you can do anything. For all that is holy, please think this feature over again and at least give an option in the interface to turn this off!
