IconPackager win win11 some icon shows a blank file

Like this. Some of the icons can be applied. But some of them shows like this.

Icon Packager is not supported on Windows 11 I believe.

That's a fact, but your issue shown in the screenshot is more likely caused by an old icon package where there are missing icon sizes used in Windows 10 & 11. Try a newer one and see if the issue still persists.

Uninstalling IconPackager are also known to cause issues under Windows 11, so I would advice against that.

I have explained in other topics how my Icon Packager works for me in Win 11, but i too have white blank icons for Text files only. I understood Icon packager should not work on my Win 11 Enterprise, and as such i am not looking for support, just reporting a similar visual thing. No i do not suggest any member does the same, i am a experimenter, and used to doing things, and i take the risks, but as its not supported, do not follow my lead as it may go horribly wrong.

I don't know a computer tech worth thier salt that hasn't "let the smoke out" of dozens of parts. Only way to get good that I know. Wouldn't try it without out deep pockets. (those old SCSI 1x and 2x CD burners were tricky as hell and cost a ransom).

I just dated myself even mentioning optical huh....

I hear you rotor8888, i learnt about Themes that way with trial and error, learning which Patcher to use, how far to push older Themes etc..

I will live with the flaws in IP, which Microsoft screwed with. It is far better than MS default icons.

Someday IP can be fixed. For now I have accepted the way it is.
