OD suggestion ,one major ,some minor ones...

I will not give up my dock! This first suggestion is the most important.

.The dock activates when a window is on top of it.This is driving me nuts! .Its difficult to even drag a window off of it.Plus the dock zooms if the mouse even gets near it.I tried using WIN FX to size windows so they wouldnt cover the dock but it quit working after awhile. The 'use mouse activation' setting does nothing that I can see.

.Minor suggestions would be a larger 'sweet' spot (adjustable maybe?)for maximum icon zoom. The icon is only in true sharp focus for 1 pixel(I know, not a big deal)

.How about squashing the outer icons instead of pushing them off the screen when your dock is almost as large as the screen.

.Having the dock be transparent till activated would be cool too.(I dont ask for much ,do I hehe)

.An option to place the dock anywhere would be nice, say 3pixels down from the top or just above the taskbar.

Just some suggestions...I'm pleased as punch that Stardock does any developement at all on this wonderful FREE program.

I don't like the dock activating like IR Braniac said first above.

also smoother resizing would make me squeal with delight

stardock is the best

I'm working on a new OD optimized skin (along the same idea as my Gold-n-Onyx skin). It's sort of a workaround of most of the issues you're taling about.

just above the taskbar

I think that would be awesome too!

Lets hope AndreasV see's this thread.

why am I not suprised to see you here Andreas? Andreas to the rescue!Looks like multiple docks too.

hehe, it's just one dock, Repositioned the icons and dock with a special application . But if they are updated, they jump back to the original position, need to make a little thing that prevents that from happening.

awesome, I can't wait till you make it available.

hehe, don't know if it can be made so that it is working good btw.
Don't have a lot of free time now, too many things I am working on and I just started to make things for the dock to forget some things that happened.

Anyway, it is on my list now, after the ODDocklet2yzDocklet plugin (which I am working on now).

Well if this is the general suggestion thread my suggestion at this time is for a "how to make dock backgrounds for dummies" (such as myself > ). I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Er and I wish I could um slow down the poof, or have a timer on it. I love love love DockZone's bang poof but I wish I could see it in slower motion. OK that suggestion is really retarded isn't it.

Nice! Great idea.
Haitham's ported several of them, not all though.

Yeah that looks awesome AndreasV! That would be so cool to have. Come to think of it, all the things you're working on would be cool to have. "AndreasV the Docklet machine!" Good stuff.

stockholm syndrome: for the poof: just use an poof.png with more frames (you could do by hand or ask DockZone). I tried one with 50 frames and it took a lot of time here

Oh cool, thanks!
How do you tell the program how many frames there are though? Does it deal with a certain frame size automaticly?
I think it uses the formula height of frame = width of image
number of frames = height of image / height of frame

Cool! Thanks Andreas! I swear man, you are not of this earth.

I will fix this I.R. I repeat: I WILL fix this

BTW, anyone else that uses docksounder and has the same problem as IR (the sound plays when he is 10px close to the dock and not over it) ?
