Swap primary & secondary

Hi,

I'm trying to find out how hard it is to switch primary and secondary computers.  Is there much of a process?

Seamless tab, first switch the primary to secondary and then the secondary to primary.

Ok. Changed primary to secondary.  Now stuck.  Have TWO secondaries.

Now what?!

Thanks.  I tried to follow c242's advice and got everything frozen by telling the primary that it is now a secondary.  Now I have NO PRIMARY.  I can't see a way to fix this.

I can switch them as I want.

How nice for you.  I can't.  I have to uninstall and reinstall now.  My secondary does NOT give me a dialog box as you show.  In fact, my primary only did after many many attempts.  This just works badly on my system.  Now I know.  Stick with one way.  Switching is hard.

Thanks anyway.

I apologize for the rude tone. Not your fault I'm too poor to buy decent equipment every few years.  I guess I should just watch tv.

Hello,
I wish I can help, but, I don't use Multiplicity so I know almost nothing about it. I really hope, you would be patience and wait for Stardock Support to come in on the weekdays. We do however appreciate, c242 afford to try to help,

Thanks

What happens when you do try and click the setting on the secondary machine?

Also, what version are you running?

Usually, nothing at all happens.  But sometimes for no reason that I can understand, it does bring up a box like c242 shows above.  But it's after hours of going away and doing other thing, etc.  I have tried click-and-hold for five seconds, which I think worked once, but never again, right-clicking, clicking while holding Ctrl--everything I know.

Version 3.57, build 00103.

Are you clicking where the mouse pointer is in my picture or are you clicking on the silver/gray space to the right (it will not work there)?
