Windows 11 Start Menu Issue

Start Menu Issue

After the last windows update "2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706)" when I hit the windows key, the Windows 11 start menu displays but none of the icons in the start menu work. They are there but are not clickable, meaning none of the programs will open. I can click More, nothing happens, I can click on All Apps, and after 10 or 15 seconds that displays but does not display all apps, it shows Recent, Top apps and Quick Search, nothing else. This kind of makes the Windows 11 start menu useless. I am using the Windows 7 Style and rarely access the actual Window 11 start menu, but it did work prior to the windows update referenced.

This is addressed in the 1.42 beta which is available in your Stardock store downloads.

I imagine it will go out as a release build next week.

When I log into my account, this below what I see, Start11 is not in the list...

If I go to Order History, Start 11 is there but the download is the older version.

Don't go to Order History. Go to Individual Downloads.

Your first activation of Start11 was done with a different email address, so it is registered to that account, not this one

The issue I'm having has to do with Explorer not refreshing with the start11. I created a powershell script to refresh the explorer and the icons come back.

Here is my code I created.

@echo off

taskkill /f /im explorer.exe

start explorer.exe

exit

I used notepad to create this with and saved it as refresh.cmd

I must have purchased Start 11 from a link you sent using a different email address as your system showed a purchase made from a different email address but no account was ever setup on your system. I created a new account with that email address and was able to download the beta version. Any chance of combining the 2 accounts?

Please raise support ticket using the link below, use the account mergers option. Include all information details. Remember to record down the ticket number for future reference if needed. Do not raise multiple ticket, that will make your ticket back to the end of the line. Send once and wait. Ticket will be answer by the order they send in.
