a random question

ive got a random question. is there a way in word to make a margin border like in appleworks or in openoffice.org. There is like a light line that shows where the margins will be. If there is such a motion .like that plz respond. thanx

Probably not, but you can make a light grey border around the page and turn it off before you print ...

Are you talking about seeing the margin in the final hardcopy (printout) or just while you're editing?

If it's the last then tick the 'Text Boundaries' checkbox in the 'Print & Web layout options' group of the Tools->Options->View dialog. It gives you a fine dotted line, not a grey line.

This is for Word/Office 2000, dunno about earlier/later versions.
