Start 11 adapt to different resolution display?

Hello,

I use a laptop connected to a 4K display most of the time, but I had to go mobile today, and it turns out this was the first time I did so since I installed Start 11. My laptop display is 1080P resolution display, and it seemed that the Start 11 bar did not reposition to fit the laptop screen dimensions. Is is supposed to?

It didn't crash, when I got home and plugged back into the 4K display everything was back where it should be. I was able to get what I needed done using the Windows key to pop the menu up, but it is a little bothersome that my menu bar wasn't accessible.

I didn't try logging out and back in to see if that would address it- I'd like to be able to just put the laptop to sleep and not have to logout/shutdown to have things fit the change in screen size.

Thanks!

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Have you tried restarting Explorer.exe when the issue happen? You can use Start11 Restart explorer button to do that.

Thanks

Nope, I have not tried that, as I hadn't seen this before, but I will likely have need to in the next few days, so I will keep that in mind and try it.

Thanks!

Great, also note, if you can't get to open up Start11 configuration. You can also restart Explorer.exe using this other steps: https://www.howtogeek.com/198815/use-this-secret-trick-to-close-and-restart-explorer.exe-in-windows/

Thank you,
