Object Desktop Showing Update Available

Object Desktop always tells me that there is an Update available for WindowBlinds11 and Fences, even though I already have the latest versions installed.  

I have tried:

  • Uninstalling and Re-installing OD
  • Uninstalling and Re-installing both programs
  • Installing versions from the web console individually apart from OD
  • Disabling update checks from OD
  • Logging out and back into account (even after a re-install)

I am running the latest version of Windows 11 and all of the latest versions of OD and both apps mentioned.

I saw posts similar to this one and there didn't appear to be a clear solution.

Has anything changed?  This issue is has become a real nag.

The app needs updating.

In the meantime, I uninstalled it and just compare version in the app (Windowblinds, Start11, etc.) with the app version on my account page. You can get there by clicking on your icon in the blue bar at the top of this page, choosing Downloads>Object Desktop Manager>View Individual Downloads.

Hopefully The OD Manager app will be updated soon.
