Shortcuts are hidden behind fence

Ver, 3.1.33

Ver, 3.1.33

On occasion a shortcut or a file gets hidden behind a fence and I have to move all the individual fences one at a time to find the fence that the shortcut or file is hidden by. This happens quite often..

This has been a recurring problem for a long time.

Any solutions or suggestions to prevent this problem ?

Thank you

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. What you can do is to create a Fences and set that Fences with Fences rule where all new icons coming into Desktop folder be auto send into that Fence. Refer screenshot below to rule set that Fence.

Thanks

Hi, thanks for the quick reply but I am referring to EXISTING icons, not newly created ones..

Existing icons sometimes, for some reason, end up hidden behind a fence.

If its an existing icons on your desktop simply move them into a Fence so Fences can manage them. If it is out side, than Fences cannot manage them.

Hi, obviously you have no idea what I am talking about.

I'll make it as simple as I can for you.

1: I have a fence with 4 icons in the fence.

2: Then, for some reason, after sometime, there are no longer 4 icons in the fence, there are 3.

3: The 4th. icon for some reason ends up behind a fence and no longer visible.

If you can't understand this problem then please forward this email to a supervisor that can help solve it.

Thank You.

Thank you for that explanation, can you explain more details on what is this moving icon relate to. A txt file? A word document file? A Excel file? Pdf maybe? And, does it move randomly or only happen when you change something onto that file? Also, have you tried turning on auto arrange icons?

Thank you,
