Clicking on Folder Portral documents issue...

If I clickk on document, it craches Fences

from Stardock Forums

If I  click on a document in a Fences Portal, Fences crashes.

If I right-click and click Open or Edit, everything works fine.,

By the way, right-clicking on Excel gives the option to Open; Word gives the option to Open or Edit.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, do know that Stardock does not support Windows 11 Insider/Beta version. It is best if you can supply us with the full Windows 11 version numbers. Use Winver.exe. We appreciate your report.

I am not able to reproduce your issue with the current beta and build 25300.1000, is it happening with certain file types or anything that you click on?

Word and Excel documents crash Fences if I click on the icon in the folder. If I right-click & open it, all works fine.

You could tell more. Click Help and About in Word or Excel and you will find the version number. Running winver.exe will give the full version number of your Windows.

Also, I cannot get Fences to upgrade to Beta 4.10.2. It updates, I restart, and then it wants to still update,
