Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, what actually "never works"? After you rebooted, and you open up IconPackager, does it load? If not, what error popup?

Also, need more information on your system.

  1. Windows 7,8,10 or 11? And Need its full version number Use Winver.exe

Thanks

It is not installed and trying to install after reboot results in the same pop up. Every time. Windows 11 latest GA build.

I'm sorry but IconPackager is not yet compatible with Windows 11.

Do "Live" Folders work from third party iconpackages or just the Windows default package ?  I'm betting they don't.

If they don't , then IconPackager cannot be called Compatible with Win11

Have tried download iconpackager directly from your product account page? If not, please do that and install that one and report back.

Thank you,

Yes. I tried it all. I finally got it to install. I uninstalled EVERYTHING from Stardock. Cleaned out all of the Stardock (and product) stuff from the Registry and from my drive. Just basically obliterated anything close to Stardock. O:)

I then rebooted (several times) and did a drive clean using a PowerShell script I wrote a while back that empties all Recycle Bins and runs Disk Cleanup (cleanmgr.exe) with all options on.

After a final reboot, I re-installed the Object Desktop installer app and tried to install IconPackager and it worked perfectly.

Thanks, Vince

I think it can, but not until IconPackager is updated to v11. It's on the "To Be Done" list but that's all we know.
