Fences disappear when click instead of going to shortcut

double click on a shortcut makes it disappoear

I've been using Fences for years and love it. For some reason today when I double click on a shortcut, which usually takes me to that file or folder, the fences all disappear. I realize when u double click OUTSIDE a fence, that they all disappear, but I'm clicking ON a shortcut.

Note: I've restarted 2x and it's still happening. No other changes have been made to the computer in this time.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know:-

  1. You on Windows 7,8,10 or 11? Also Need to know its full version numbers. Use Winver.exe
  2. You on Fences version?

Update: I went into Fences and turned off "double click." Now, the icons are showing up BUT I can't click on them to activate.

I don't think Fences 2 is supported for Current Windows 10 version. Referring to Fences version history. Fences 3 start it support on Windows 10.
