Start 11 version 1.37 beta solves my problems with Windows 11 Insider

Great, the taskbar works again! It is no longer fragmented and the icons no longer overlap. Thanks!

Thank god - I just came here trying to figure out what is going on.  I would like to know what caused it.  I think it started around patch patch tuesday.

The changes are specific to insider releases.

Are you using one of those?

I’m not. I’m seeing a few posts about explorer crashes, unresponsive context menus or taskbar. I had errors even launching the installer (only the start11 one) till I rebooted.  It’s been pretty solid till recently and I don’t change much on my windows pc as it’s only for gaming.

I don't think we are aware of any such issues.  Only people insider issues having trouble with changes to the taskbar in recent insider builds which is what the latest beta build addresses.  If you are on release build it would not impact it other than a fix for overlapping system tray icons in some situations.

If you were even unable to launch the installer then something very odd is going on which seems unrelated to Start11 as it would not be impacting the launch of that.

that

I'm not sure honestly.  Installing the beta fixed it for me and im definitely not an insider + my problems were the same.  Who knows.  I'm thinking my only thing I might have changed was adding  2nd monitor.
