I get so tired of having to uninstall/reinstall this software

I have had Fences for years, and I am about done with it COMPLETELY blowing up every time Windows does an update, or even when I just change the damn screen resolution. I have tried installing it on a number of different devices, all running Windows 10/11, and the behavior is the same: after Windows updates or a screen resolution change, Fences hangs on startup for several MINUTES. I just changed my resolution, and it completely wiped all my settings YET AGAIN! All the fences disappear and I get a spinning icon for almost a full three minutes before it snaps back in place. And yet again, only an uninstall/reinstall seems to fix it.

Do you have any icon on your desktop or Fences that link to network drive or network share drive? If you do, than it might be the issue. Your issue might or might not be similar to this issue and Support has suggest something to test : https://forums.stardock.com/514583/get;3875625 try it and report back.

Also, try looking if you have Desktop onedrive sync. If you do please disable it.
