Show desktop button does not work properly

I did report that to them when you and I were looking at your skin earlier.  It was their Beta 2 feedback thread, Replies 43 and 44:

The rule for issue reporting is "Once is enough".  Hopefully they'll get it fixed before too much longer.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I see the issue when I mouse over that area (GlassMaxX22) on Windows 10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.2364). It works, and frankly, makes that (crazy small) button more usable with certain skins, but I was able to reproduce what Dave was noticing below, the transparency on hover:

Its been a while now. Is there any info on when the showdesktop button will be fixed on windows 10 machines running windowblinds 11? It works fine with windowblinds 10 but under wb11 its transparent.

yes please.. this was raised up over a month ago... and still nothing.. and this isnt something minor were it can be like yea who cares no big deal.. this is actually a VERY BIG DEAL... and a huge bug in the app..

This would be classed as a minor issue as it does not cause crashes and does not impact functionality at all.

If it is classified as a minor problem, it means that we will not see this bug fixed for a long time?

if you call that a minor issue, then i have no other words to say anymore... because the way it sounds, other than if the app blows ur entire PC to pieces.. everything other than that happening is just a minor issue        not the way a professional business should be run.. but hey, whatever.... thats a very fast way to lose a whole lot of current customers and future would be customers if ya ask me... but hey high five!   

Does anyone know if this has been fixed in the latest release of WindowBlinds 11? I use that Show Desktop button frequently on Win 11 Pro and it would be showstopper for me purchasing WindowBlinds if it isn't working.

if ur talking about windowblinds 11.01 then no this hasnt been fixed... to be honest i dont think anyone has even looked into the issue.. as someone here from stardock said it wasnt that big of a deal.. so i dont think they are even gonna bother trying to fix it lol

The person stating it is a minor issue as it does not impact functionality or cause crashes is the author of Windowblinds.  You can take his opinion as gospel.

sorry but i dont take anyones opinion as gospel.. and it is a very big issue, not just for me but for plenty of others. just because its not an issue for him doesnt mean it shouldnt be fixed... specially when its something we all pay for.. i mean thats the reason there is forums right? to point out things that might be wrong with the software? amongst all the other things people do in forums.. so the way it sounds to me is... there is no point in saying anything about any stardock software because its not going to do anything anyways right? yall are gonna do what YOU wanna do and everyone who pays for ur software has to live with it right? u will update or fix what you wanna fix and thats that correct? what are all yall living in the 1920's or something? with that kind of mindset..   

Actually, maybe I miss understand it, but, he did not mentioned that it will not be look into. He just said its a minor issue. It still an issue, no?

I have Winaero Tweaker & have tested that option & it works just fine.

I believe the show desktop function still there, just that, the button graphics no longer show up on Windowblinds 11..

Can someone provide a definite answer:

Is the ShowDesktop button functionality in WindowBlinds11 still there? IOW, can we still click on that area and get the ShowDesktop functionality even though the button may not displayed correctly? For me, that would be fine and will go ahead and purchase Windowblinds 11.

Note: I'm not trying to be a PITA. I use the ShowDesktop button VERY frequently with the way that I use Windows for my job.

Yes, the area still works, apparently on Win10 skins are not showing the button properly
