Neil, please note that I have left the beta ring of insider program.  I will now only get release preview.  But while I was Beta, I noted where Stardock will have more work with the taskbar.  It is positioned differently and the height of the full screen at the bottom has changed as well.  This is just FYI.

Yup, I can second this. Just updated this morning and now my main screen taskbar is "short" as well.

It is known and expected that once the new taskbar is moved to release, assuming it ever gets there as it has been abandoned one before, that S11 will require an update to offer some features it currently offers on older versions.

It isn't due to leave beta/dev channel for some time however which is why we are holding off integrating support.
