[SOLVED] BUG: If I use Microsoft Edge's built-in "Name window" option, StarDock Groupy tab loses its title label.

By default, Microsoft Edge displays the active tab's title on its "title bar":

And StarDock Groupy mirrors this for its own tab title:

But when you right click Edge's title bar, it also offers the option: "Name window":

This means you can assign a custom fixed name to the window.

This will not change, no matter what tab is active.

However, utilizing this "Name window" option causes the relevant StarDock Groupy tab to shrink and display absolutely no title at all:

I would like StarDock Groupy to respect the name I give the window.

P.S.,

You may ask: "Why not just rename StarDock Groupy's tab manually?"

Because StarDock Groupy forgets custom tab naming, after the program is exited.
Whereas Edge's "Name window" option carries over, even after restarts (when Edge is set to restore previous sessions).

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But when I rename it, it actually show up in groupy tabs. Refer screenshot below. All 3 tabs renamed.

Your screenshot does not show the Edge window title.

To clarify...
Did you use Microsoft Edge option "Name window..." to change the name?
(Right click on Edge title bar > Press 'Name Window' > Enter custom name)

In my installation, naming the window via Microsoft Edge causes the StarDock tab to shrink and display no text.

After lots of testing, I figured out the solution!
The root problem is the theme setting in Microsoft Edge.

I had previously applied this theme combination (not external, but from within Edge's default offerings):

It was only after I cycled through a number of these different themes - then re-applied the original one I liked above - that StarDock Groupy began to properly show the Edge custom window title in its tabs.
