Desktop icons outside of Fences move after computer comes out of sleep mode

I recently installed a new 2tb NVME SSD Boot Drive in my first M.2 slot, and decided to do a new install of Windows 11 Pro.  This obviously meant I had to re-install all my software including Start11 and Fences 4.

The PC is running just fine except with a problem I have with Fences 4.  Although most of my icons are within Fences (where I have no problem) there are a few icons separately on the desktop, including 8 icons on the right side of the screen.  If the PC goes to sleep due to inactivity (mine is set to go off after 20 minutes) then the icons to the right of the screen all move left to various positions when the PC is brought back to life.  If I shutdown or restart the PC then they stay in the correct positions when the PC restarts.

I have tried all sorts of actions (after trawling the internet) including deleting the iconcache, but none worked.  I then uninstalled Fences 4, because after all Fences does control desktop icons, and the icons did not move when the PC came out of sleep mode.  When I re-installed Fences 4 the problem came back.  I am therefore happy that the problem is related to Fences 4.  I do not know why, but it is most frustrating.  Perhaps there is a setting within Fences 4 I have not set correctly.

I have posted below screenshots of my desktop, both before and after the problem to show how the icons have moved.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Desktop before PC goes to sleep.

Desktop after PC comes out or sleep mode. You can see all icons to the right side of screen, including the recycle bin have shifted to the left.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. My suggestion is to put those few icons into Fences. And make those Fences to have invisible background. And make show title only when mouseover or never. Your roll up fences will still show its title.

Thanks

basj.  That is certainly a workaround and I thank you as I did not think of that.  However, it doesn't explain why I have the problem in the first place, or actually resolve that issue.  I did not have that problem with my prior Windows 11 version.  The old Windows 11 Pro was actually an upgrade to my previous Windows 10 Pro, which in turn was an upgrade of my previous Windows 8 Pro version, so I don't know if that explains anything.  I don't like not knowing why something has happened.

I have set up my desktop as you suggest and see if that works.  I hope it will as you have seen that my existing Fences on the right side of the screen did not move, neither did the icons within those fences.
