Mouse not moving to secondary

I've run multiplicity in the past successfully.  I just replaced my secondary computer and now I can't get the new secondary to work.  I continually get the can't be public network message when I test.  I have firewall set to private network and NOT public.  Still no success.  I completely turn off the firewall, restart computer, still get the same error message.  I'm stumped.
