I am still getting multiple game freezes each game. It's so bad that I reluctantly am not playing this game anymore. I believe there is a conflict going on when running a second monitor and have other programs running simultaneously. I don't have this issue with other software I run, just this one.
Hey there! I am so sorry that you're having issues. Have you been submitting crash reports when this happens?
The key for us is not fiddling with menus whilst the game is loading. Its counterintuitive because that’s what we do when waiting but it seems to work.
The game freezes and the crash report screen never pops-up. I have to Ctrl-Alt-Delete to end the game.
Okay, got it! I am passing this issue along and will try to touch base when I can!
Could there be a conflict with running a second monitor? I updated my video driver and see if I can get it to freeze again.
A new driver didn't make any difference. I got a freeze as I clicked on a new tech to research. I was running another software app on a second screen when this happened.
I've had a few games freeze up too. Always while I am running a turn. I might be getting stuck on a particular race, but since I always select Random I don't know what race is being processed because it is too early.
