Is there a way with Start11 to show the search form like in this image:

Not sure about the search box but the search icon does work. 

However I did notice that clicking on the search icon opens the search window at the far left even when in centered mode. A bug?

EDIT

Also the hover menu opens to the left from time to time (not just on the first hover)
