BootSkins and/or Logons

Hello all,
Seeing as I have very little experience and brain power for coded skins I have been looking wantingly at the windows xp logons and the newly appointed boot skins and thinking.. I want to make those.
But of corse there is the minor tecnicality that i dont have Windows XP so my question is this:

Is it possible to install just the design programme of these or a way to get it to semi-work with windows 98.

I don't think that is possible, as the programs only work on 2K and XP

A BootSkin can be made without the program, but you would not be able to test it, and if it was to be uploaded and didn't work, where would your credability be then

So I would not even suggest that option, sorry.

Hmmm... well i dont think my credibility is too high at the moment anyway but i guess your right... I'll just cry from the side-lines then.

Amen to that!

Is there a Tutorial for the Bootskins and Logons. Im kinda looking for someting other than Screen Shots to upload Or, if something easier maybe Please Help
