I've encountered many issues.
I specifically remember these:
1) MAJOR Rockstar's Launcher installer wan;t install rockstar;s launcher as long as windowsfx is active...
this is huge failure man, rockstar launcher is the home of the games red dead redemption II and all of the GTAs.....
Billions of users are using them, how you missed this?????
2) of the major game clients (steam, rockstar, ea origin, epic, battle.net etc) most of the windows work fine BUT theyre
NOT OBEYING windowsfx settings , they don't animate at all any choice you made for animations on windowsfx
3) I've the suspicion that
1))))))many programs installed on c:\Program files\ have also problem to animate according to windowsfx
settings (there i also have installed my game clients.....) but i can't recall specific cases
and 2)))))) programs minimised to tray have also problems like animate minimise/close BUT NOT open /restore OR they don't animate at all
4) (SPECIFIC PROGRAM) the program DVB Viewer (is used to play free TV from usb tv sticks or pci cards) obeys only on
minimise/close animation settings and NOT AT ALL at open/restore...
5)(SPECIFIC PROGRAM) the program Net Limiter (is used to control the speed of download or upload of the pc applications
so you can for example download while streamming video - if the program you download doesn't have a setting for limiting
download speed or it doen't behave well ) behaves similarly like DVB Viewer. animates minimise/close BUT NOT open /restore.
==============================================
I'm on windows 11 22H2 fully updated, i5-11400, 16mb ram, nvidia 3050 latest drivers, samsung sataIII ssd 512gb for system drive.
ALL Net is installed/ ALL (literally ALL) vc++ runtimes.
FROM THE ABOVE IS EASILY TO UNDERSTAND THAT WINDOWSFX ALGORITHM NEEDS UPDATES, as it fails in many cases
to animate windows on various reasons (specific incompatibility, installation folder, tray). more interesting is that
while DVBviewer is an app that continuously plays video and maybe problems the Netlimiter app is a perfectly common desktop
app BUT windowsfx fails to work with it...
I hope this will help as an example...
