App Modern UI Start11

Crash Selecting App In Modern UI Menu

Recently on my PC I have a problem with Start 11 when I try to select an app from the Modern UI App menu. Start11 crashes and also the taskbar disables and then restarts. I have a licence for both Start10 and Start11 but the problem occurs with both versions (I installed both versions alternately to see if the problem persisted). What can I do?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Need to know which Windows 11/10 version you test it on. Use Winver.exe to get the full version number.
  2. Have you tried purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest.

Hello,

My window is Windows 10 version 21H2 (Built SO 19044.2006).

I tried to purge and reinstall following the steps mentioned in the link you sent but the problem still remain.

I also own a licence of Start11 and I tried to install it but th problem still remain.

Everytime I tried to install a diferent version I purged and reinstall the software and I made all the reeboting requested, but no solution.

What I can say is that the problem apperaed for the first time just some few weeks ago and I'm able to connect the problem with some specific windows update.

The version I tried to install are:

Start10_1.97

Start11_1.25

 

I don't really know what can I try further.

I purchased also a licence of Start 11 but I faced the same issue
