START 11 - START menu does not open if I use both Start 11 format of menu and enhance taskbar; must be one or the other

After install and a little customization, I noticed that clicking on the START menu did nothing, opens nothing. 

Here's what I have figured out. If I enable a START menu style and let Start 11 enhance the taskbar, the START menu is disabled. I click on it and nothing happens. 

If I give the START menu a style and don't enhance the taskbar (leave it off), the START menu works and it works with the style I picked.

If I don't give the START menu a style but I do enhance the taskbar, the START menu works and displays in a default Windows 11 format.

So - I can have one or the other. Either style the START menu OR enhance the taskbar. Not both.

 

While troubleshooting, I ran the purge uninstaller and reinstalled START 11. Problem remained.

I have three computers and the other two don't exhibit this problem.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Do you have non-standard scaling applied to your monitor/s? ie. 110%,130% etc?

Hi Basj...

That was it! I had custom scaling on my monitors. The next standard scale up is 125% which is a bit big. Do you think this is something that will get worked out sometime in the future? I am going to leave it at 125% and see how it goes, but it's big. Start 11 appears to be allowing me to enhance the taskbar and style the START menu now.
