Groupy coudln't run in Win7.

Groupy can't work without DWM

Hi,

I can't launch Groupy normally in Windows7, the error shows "Groupt can't work without DWM".

I already installed Groupy to C disk location and tried purging and reinstall, didn't work;

DWM is starting;

Windows 7 Aero theme.

 

Could you please guide me how to fix it?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

You need to run the Aero Glass theme.  You are currently using Aero Basic as shown by the solid borders rather than the glassy look.

Groupy requires the DWM to be running and functional and this means it will need a minimum level of 3D hardware.  You may need to check your Windows Experience score as if this is not calculated then the DWM may not startup correctly.
