Hi,
I have a new laptop that I am running as a headless secondary.
Initially it worked great with multiplicity running. My CIO office at work forced a reboot last night and I come in to find that multiplicity wasn't working.
I tried a few things that didn't work and one that finally did...
1. Tried to connect via wifi instead of ethernet
2. Made sure my network connection was private (not public)
3. Reinstalled multiplicity on my primary and secondary using the multiplicity batch scrub file from stardock (with reboot)
4. Removed the hdmi that I was connecting to for headless operation
5. Updated video drivers
6. Tried a different USB-C port for the ethernet/hdmi dock
7. Forced the multiplicity executable to use the high performance option in display setting, and also tried the low performance to see if it made a difference...
None of that worked. Still a black screen
What I had to end up doing was to disable the discreet graphics card (Nvidia t1200 laptop GPU) and only use the integrated Intel UHD graphics card and it started working again.
Although this works, I'd like to be able to use the discreet graphics card due to the nature of my work. Is there a way that I can operate multiplicity while leaving the nvidia card on?
It was working fine yesterday so I don't really understand what the heck happened.
Thanks for the help!
