Nightmare with Start11 "purge all"

This is MY FAULT but a note of warning:

- I did a purge all of start11, but I DID reboot in the middle.

This started a chain events which ended up in:

- explorer continually restarting

- all of my files (but not folders) in my download folder being deleted

- had to sys restore back before it, and there are still weird issues

so... moral of the story
