Update from 3 to 4 Application crash

Update fences 4

Hi

I want to update Fences 3 to Fences 4.

First uninstalled Fences 3 and reinstalled Fences 4.

After restarting the Server and starting Fences, it crashes.

I'm using Windows Server 2016. It works fine with Fences 3.

Is there a problem with Fences 4 on Windows  Server 2016?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Is the OS fully updated with all the available Windows and .Net patches?

Hi

Yes, the Server 2016 is full patched!
End of psommer559's quote

We were able to see this on a WS 2016 VM and reproduce it.  The fix for it will be part of the next beta release (likely today).

Internal ref: FEN-138

Thanks for the heads up!
