Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Would like to know more on your system.
Thanks

ah, good call. was half asleep when i posted this so didnt consider insider potentially being a factor. perhaps its due to being on 22H2? build is 22621.160
I don't have that version to test that. Do know that Stardock don't support Windows insider versions or Betas. Just to be sure I have forward your problem/question to Stardock Support Team for their assistance. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We appreciate your feedback and patience.
Thanks

understandable. normally for that reason alone i stay away from insider builds. unsure whether its a factor in my issue or not but i guess i'll be stuck sitting on it and waiting until 22H2 gets pushed public. then if it persists ill post back.
I never touch the dev channel but i couldnt help joining the beta channel so i could get file explorer tabs this time around
already queued for unenrollment but its not supposed to be pushed to the masses until ~september from what I understand.
Beta channel isn't running what will be 22H2, it is a later build I believe.
Release preview has what will be 22H2 which comes out in September.
admittedly not to familiar on how it works from end to end but i upgraded to 22H2 ~RTM once i found out it was on beta and immediately opted out of insider builds. i'd like to think it wouldnt just carry on updating as then it would never be able to opt-out once the "next stable build" (aka 22h2) releases to the general public.
either way, at some point in the future i'll be back on stable and can revisit. i can live with it until then i think lol.
Documents will show files in the documents folders. The file type isn't a factor.
Files shows files known to the search indexer, again type isn't a factor. It is unusual for an exe to be in a location that would have been indexed.
