Start 11 issues

from Stardock Forums

Two new albeit rare issues since installing Start 11:

1) right end of taskbar is completely blank - no icons, clock, etc.

2) info from right end of taskbar is superimposed on top of the left end where the start button is.

Restarting the computer fixed both issues.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

  • Windows 10 or 11? And your Windows full version numbers. Use Winver.exe to get those.
  • Start11 version numbers.
  • Taskbar bottom or top align?
  • If you on Windows 11, do you turn on Enhance taskbar option?

Windows version 21H2 (OS Build 22000.739)

Start 11 version 1.24

Taskbar aligned to bottom

I do not know what "enhance taskbar option" even is and do not see any such options - ?

Enhance taskbar on or off :

Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot (important), reinstall, reboot and retest. Report back here.

Also, instead of rebooting, try restart explorer.exe, https://www.howtogeek.com/198815/use-this-secret-trick-to-close-and-restart-explorer.exe-in-windows/
