Taskbar icons messed up after switching monitors

When I disconnect my desk monitor and laptop becomes my primary monitor the icons on my taskbar are mixed up (maybe shifted left or right?)

e.g. I click on messenger icon, and whatsapp is opened instead

same issue when hovering on the icons

 

Note: I use pinning of tasks

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I assume you're referring to Start11, yes? If so, does doing restart explorer.exe solve your issue?
