Start 11 scrollbar is defective

scrollbar disappears and is missing up/down arrows

If you click on the Start 11 icon and then "All Apps", the scrollbar only shows when it is hovered over by the mouse.  This is bad.  The scroll bar should always show.  This disappearing behavior is almost never helpful, and is annoying.

Additionally, there is not an up-arrow at the top of the scrollbar nor a down-arrow at the bottom of the scrollbar.  This violates the traditional Windows interface, which makes scrolling difficult when the mouse is set at a sensitive level.

Please fix the scrollbar to act like a traditional Windows scrollbar.

The auto hiding matches the OS in this regard.  If you enable the option in the OS to always show scrollbars then so will Start11.  This is under accessibility->Visual Effects in the Windows settings.

Clicking above or below the scrollbar acts like an up/down arrow.

It was necessary to restart Start 11 after changing the setting in Windows.  Thanks for the tip.

When I set the option in Windows 11 to always show scrollbars, Start 11 doesn't behave correctly.  Here is what's wrong:

  1. The width of the scrollbar changes when it hovered over.  The width should be static.  One of the worst trends during the past few years is for interface features like scrollbars to change when hovering.
  2. Up and down scroll arrows are missing.

Please give Start 11 an option to force traditional Windows scrollbar behavior.
