Start11 does not retain start menu theme selection when changing style

I'm sure its simply missing the registry entry for it or whatnot but if i choose for example Modern theme without icon for the modern style, then swap to another start menu style, upon changing back it reverts.  Same goes for changing the windows 7 style start menu theme to default theme with black edges.   Any deviation from the windows 7 theme resets this setting.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. You on Windows 10 or 11? and its version numbers please. And Start10 or Start11?

sorry, windows 11 - whatever the newest non insider build is.  22000.708 it appears.  using start11
