Old apps showing up

Cant remove icons from start with window 10 menu mode and recent apps showing up even though it off

Microsoft To Do, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft News, Power Automate, Window Terminal and X Box all show in the menu, however they cant be removed. Another problem I have updated all apps and Microsoft Teams was reinstalled and shows as a new app even though I have don't show recent added apps turned off. How do do I delete them? There not in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu.

All of those are Universal apps which mean they do not have shortcuts in the start menu folders.  If they are listed then they do still exist on the computer according to the list of installed universal apps provided by the OS to Start11.

What happens if you try to launch one of them?

If you have show recently installed apps disabled then it shouldn't be showing any at the top of the list.  Is this at the top or does it just have a new label on it?

Update

I was able to remove the fallowing by finding the original apps in the Microsoft store. Installing them and then uninstalling them. It didn't work with Microsoft teams. So I'm still stuck with it.

Teams is a pain in the a** to remove. Did You remove 'machine wide installer' also from control panel / installed programs?
