Start 11

Constantly Freezng

Hello,

I have recently developed and issue with Start 11.  It will randomly freeze for no apparent reason at all.  It will stop freezing after a few minutes if I just leave it alone. 

I was thinking this could be a Windows 11 issue. So I uninstalled it complete from my pc and all other Object Desktop items I had installed. 

Restarted and I didn't have a problem.  No more freezing. 

I did a re-install just to see if uninstalling it would work.  NOPE, as soon as it finished. The start menu was frozen again.  Please help in resolving this issue.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Just to be clear moving forward with your issue, how you are sure Start11 is the issue? You mentioned you uninstalled all Object Desktop application? Does the issue return if you only install Start11 without other Object Desktop application install.

I know it is because the first program I re-installed was Start 11, and it froze immediately. 

I let it set there for a bit and as usual it came out of it. 

But after a while my start button and task bar will freeze again.

When it's not present, it doesn't freeze.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version (V1.24 Beta) from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.

I tried all of the steps above and as soon as I restarted, Start 11 was frozen again.  After a few minutes it started working again. 

Any other suggestions?
