doesnt stick to taskbar after every pc restart

Hello everyone,

I was a Object Desktop user years ago, so my version of using fence was 3.09. Everything worked perfect, but I was excited about the new version of programms, so i renewed my subscription yesterday and installed fence 4. Now, I have the problem, that my fences connected to the taskbar didnt stay connected after every pc restart and roll up the wrong way. For Testing, I uninstalled Fence 4 and installed my old version 3.09 and problem was gone. I do not know, how to fix that problem with fence 4. My Win 11 Pro version is: Version 10.0.22000 Build 22000.

I hope, you will find a fix for my problem

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. What happen if you just move that 3 bottom Fences up or down a little until its bottom Fences frame touch the taskbar? If that work and stick to the taskbar. Take a layout screenshot and save it. Reboot and see if that 3 fences still behave.

Thanks

Hey,

thank you for very fast answer. I did this, but it still doesn't stick to taskbar after reboot. I recently uninstalled again with all my settings, rebooted, reinstalled, let fences create my fences, attached them to the taskbar, rebooted and they are not attached any more. So I reloaded my old layout again. I do not understand =/

It should look like that (but after restart, it looks like the first screenshot, every single time):

You are using Start11? or some other application that change your taskbar size? Can you try changing back the taskbar to normal size and reset all your bottom fences again. Reboot and see if that help.

I uninstalled Start 11 and it works now. If I install Start 11 and put icon size to big and restarted, problem is back. So it is a problem with the bigger taskbar? Because of my resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, taskbar is too small :'(

Well, I try it, set my taskbar size to large. Reboot. Set the Fences to snap to the large taskbar. Make/save a layout snapshot. Reboot. And all the Fences still stick at the bottom. Refer to my screenshot below.

Hello,

I did different tests. In Addition, I want to say, that I have 2 monitors: my main monitor with 2560x1440 (144Hz) and my second with 1920x1080 (60Hz). If I put my fences to the second one, it is working, if I put them to the main, it is not working any more...I dont get it. I am completly confused. I also changed the resolution and Hz, but nothing works.

I mean, it worked with the old fences version, so I thought, it might be a new fences problem.
