1. You on Windows 7,8,10 or 11? And its full version number please.
2. Which version of Start11 you're trying to run?
3. More information on what don't work? Error msg pop ups? Please elaborate.

I am using Windows 11 preview 22616.1.  I am using the Start 11 version I downloaded today, 5-5-2022. After I installed Start 11 I tried to configure it to give me the Windows 7 start menu.  After I made my choices I had NO start menu.  I click the start button and nothing pops up.  There is no Windows 7 start menu.  I had to install open shell in order to get a Windows 7 start menu.  I was using Start 10 and it worked but I had to uninstall it because Windows would not update with it installed.  If I uninstall open shell I can get Start 11 to work but not with the Windows 7 start menu which is what I want.  Can you help?

Uninstall start11, reboot, reinstall start11 as it sounds like an installation issue.

I would recommend you do not use Windows Insider builds.  They are not a supported operating system even by Microsoft.

Thank you.  I have been a beta tester for years and I have now officially opted out.  I am waiting for the update to the public stable version of Windows 11.  I should realized that the problem was being caused by the insider version I had installed because it is certainly not the first issue I have encountered.  Once I have the proper Windows 11 installed I will try Start11 again.
