When I move my fences to the top of my desktop, the area label moves to the bottom. I hate this. How can I have it so fences at the top of my desktop have their dark label at the top, uniform with all the fences below it.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. You can just simply move it back down. Once the titlebar move back up. Move the fence up, stop just before it touches the top screen border. This normal for Fences behavior and it is there on my Fences v3 too.

Are the devs aware that this is a thing? Can't they just add a toggle for it?
The Dev know, since, I do believe it is design to be that way. You can ask to put in that option, but its really a simple thing. Just push it up just don't go too close to the screen border. Its one time set and forget thing. Not like you going to move your fences every few minutes, do you?
