Start11 Moves Taskbar To Top Of Screen Instead Of Increasing Height

Beta 1.16 on Windows 11 Home

I broke my rule of not using beta software on a "must use" machine, but being able to get multiple rows of icons on the taskbar was too tempting.

I'd had several occasions when after a period of time, the taskbar reverted back to a single row, but I was able to drag the height back...until the last time,   I went to drag the top of the taskbar up, but instead, it immediately  jumped to the top of the screen.  Nothing I've tried can get it back down to the bottom.  I've tried restarting explorer, restarting the computer, removing Start11, and reinstalling Start11, all to no avail.  I'm beginning to think that nothing short of editing the registry, will return it to its proper location.  Hopefully, someone will have a better idea.

Are you sure you have not accidentally enabled the option to put the taskbar at the top?

This is on the taskbar page in Start11.  Scroll down and you should find taskbar position for primary and secondary monitors.

There is an unrelated issue with the taskbar jumping to almost the top (about 12 pixels down from the top) which is being addressed for the next beta.  This gets triggered by screen res changes but only on some machines.

Well, now, I'm feeling foolish for not looking at that, though I have no idea how it happened.  Thanks very much.
