Skinstudio

Hi,

I've donwloaded the last windowblinds version znd tested it with the few usable dark skins as I still use a windows 7 not offering dark mode : the fact is that my glaucoma decided to go on 5th gear 2 years ago and the few percent left of my eyesight really doesn't cope well with white backgrounds/black text.

As of now dark mode skin is my favorite but the changing colors windows is so !%ù¤^@# that I remembered skinstudio... Except that I can't find it. Clicking "edit the skin in skinstudio" in windowblinds main window only leads me to stardock and no links about it.

What's wrong here ?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. If I understand you correctly you want to change Windows text and background color, yes?

To change the Windows text color and Windows background color try here :

Hi,

Thanks for the 2nd link as my stardock account doesn't provide any useful link at all thus my publication here.

So, I've downloaded it, thank you again, time to tweak my actual dark mode,  at least what these §µ%$£# of microsoft keeping to hardcode some parts of the UI.

Even in W10/Win11, in dark mode, the system has still some parts not acting accordingly.

It look like your WindowBlinds 10 was under your ODM and since your ODM is expired. You do not have a link for Skinstudio 10.

Thank you,

I'm so disapointed... The 10th iteration is like the first ones : no option for dark mode either.

Of course, I could edit a skin when being in windows high contrast mode but, wait... skin studio Backgrounds are hardcoded with blinding white backgrounds for people like me.

The ergonomic, the UI is so clumsy... Let's take an example :

- Change skin colors opens a window with some changeable colors. Picking a color shows on the max right a box withr that color... But I have to down the window to click change color to change it. So... I have no words for it.

It suddenly reminded me that pile of anything else shit named windows 11. So modern after 8 modifications of that old NT4, with it's dark mode and... still and always OS/UI parts in white backgrounds.

Let's take another example. I've modified some colors and decided to save them but as I've modified some of them  inside windowblinds (modify the style/modify system colors), I choose "save as..."... Next dialog is "do you want to save changes ?"... To what ? The actual skin ? Or the planned "save as..." ?

I'm afraid I won't be paying for a past 30 days trial...
