Opinion on wallpaper inclusion.

I see a lot of people post WB skins and link to the wallpapers...which is better? lower the filesize by separating the wallpaper from the skin or include it like windowblinds gives you the ability to do?

it's a personal choice, but for me I would probably go with submitting complete themes including the wall. People will still use the option of using the one they think fits best, but for me it is part of the complete package...

Oh, and you can compress without any real loss of quality unless you try to get unreal about compressing...

Yeah, like IPlural said. It's a personal choice.
I like uploading the wallpaper separately due to the fact that I make several resolution sizes, so adding 2 0r 3 extra files to the WB skin will increase the size of the file.
I take under consideration that not everyone has a fast connection, so making the files smaller is beneficial to those with slow connection.

Arcana, I'm a big fan of your Dark Temple layout for blinds. But, I would really like the various wallpapers that I've seen you do for this layout. Can you email them to me at info@expandyourbrain.com? Or post them so people can download them separately from the package?

I'm actually having trouble getting Windows Blinds to display the wallpaper included with the layouts. I don't understand why.

Thanx

1 other thing to consider is if you feel the wallpaper won't pass moderation, then include it with the blind.

Its too difficult to offer enough resolutions if you include it with the wb...plus,wb wont auto install it unless its a .bmp (unless they changed that)
