for some reason i cannot figure out how to change the start button, ive went to the change start button, added the the start button that i want to use and it never changes the start button...
does anyone know what im doing wrong or not doing...windows 7 was much easier to mess around with

yes, thats they way im attempting to do it.
edit.....so for hoots and hollers i uninstalled start11 and then installed start 10, and no issues changing the start button
Do any of the start button choices work, or is it only specific ones?
I do know that if you choose an image from the pick image button, some images may be in the improper format. The proper format should include 3 different images for the different effects the start menu makes.

non worked at all, but it does work in start 10
Something is not behaving the way it should.
Would you perhaps try a purge and reinstall

Reboot and ReInstall the latest version from your account page Reboot , test and report back please .
