Feature Request: Start11 Drag & Drop

Like Windows10 task bar, I'd like to request "Drag & Drop to the Taskbar" feature like URL below:

https://github.com/HerMajestyDrMona/Windows11DragAndDropToTaskbarFix

I heard Windows11 would have this feature, but unless I stop using start11, I think we cannot have this feature.

Thanks.

Hello,
Start11 will add additional features for taskbar on Windows 11in its later updates. Tentatively will be in V1.2X. Hopefully, it will be available soon.

Thanks

I am a new user of Start 11, on 1.22 currently, and I really would like the "Drag & Drop to the Taskbar" feature.  I used it all the time in WIn10/Win7.  Hopefully this will find its way into a near-term release.

Start11 1.2 and above should allow you to drag over an open window and then that window jumps to the top so you can drag into that window.

Are you looking to just drag files to non open apps and make it launch the app with that file or something else?

I am sorry I should have been more specific- yes, both Windows 11 and Start11 allow drag and drop from one File Explorer explorer window to a minimized File Explorer window.  But it neither will work when dragging attachments from Outlook onto a minimized File Explorer window, or a minimized Outlook mail message.  Windows 10 and prior do have this functionality.

I am using Outlook 365 Version 2204 in Windows 11.  I did not test this version of Outlook in Windows 10.

This feature is now in the Stock Windows 11 taskbar, but still not available when the taskbar is Enhanced by Start11 (Currently on V2)
